Privacy Policy

Open Company ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what choices you have.

This website is a static marketing site. It has no user accounts, no sign-up and no contact form, so we do not ask you for — and cannot receive — any personal information you type into it.

We do collect basic analytics about how the site is used:

• The pages you view and the site that referred you
• Campaign parameters in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign)
• Which links you click, including links that take you off this site
• An approximate country, derived from your IP address
• Your browser, device type and screen size

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> on your device to recognise returning visits. You can opt out across all sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

We also run our own small analytics system on a server we control. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Your IP address is not stored: it is combined with your browser user agent and a secret value that we rotate daily and never keep, producing an irreversible value that lets us count visitors without identifying them.

We do not use any of this for advertising or profiling, we do not combine it with other data, and we do not sell or share it.

Our web server and our CDN provider, Cloudflare, keep short-lived operational logs recording the requested URL, timestamp, response status, browser user agent and connecting IP address. These are used only for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting — never for analytics — and are deleted after 14 days.

We use the information described above to:

• Understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read
• See whether visitors go on to our documentation, so we can improve the site
• Keep the site available, secure and free from abuse
• Respond to your comments and questions if you email us

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Our own analytics data is retained for 25 months and is then deleted automatically. Server logs are deleted after 14 days.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability
